This long rifle is a Russian Mosin-Nagant M91/30, made in 1943. This particular gun was at one time a PU sniper rifle, but at some point before it was sold, the scope mount and scope were removed, and the stock was repaired to replace the wood that was cut out for the scope mount (picture below). These guns were hand-selected for accuracy, and this one is no exception.



Interesting Markings:

These markings appear on the barrel where it meets the receiver. The top marking is the hammer and sickle. To the right is "-60" and I'm not sure what that particular marking indicates. 1943r refers to the year of manufacture (notice that this one is much nicer than the M38 from the same year). Below that is the serial number (partially blurred out), and finally, the arrow in the triangle signifies that this rifle was produced by the Izhevsk factory.
