This gun is a Kahr Arms K40 pistol. I bought this gun used, so it shows a little wear and a few scratches. After four years of using this gun, I decided to add some Trijicon tritium night sights, but other than that, it remains pretty much as I bought it. This little gun is really small, but it packs a serious punch. It comes from the factory with Hogue recoil-absorbing grips installed, but the gun still becomes uncomfortable to shoot after 50 rounds or so. However, it is extremely accurate, and it hits exactly where I aim. My one complaint about this thing is that it's a real pain to field strip. The recoil spring is monsterously powerful and you have to somehow fight against that while simultaneously pounding the takedown pin with a mallet. Other than that, this is a great personal defense pistol. |
